Nowadays, there are a lot of people claiming to be making a super income from Online marketing working a couple of hours per day, but are they really? The sad fact is that for many, they are just passing along the sales hype in their affiliate programs or sales copy that has been passed down from their super, get rich quick vendor.
There are indeed a number of super gurus who command incomes in the high zeros zone, in what appears to be effortless fashion. However, there are a far greater number of home based business opportunity seekers maxing out their credit cards just trying to stay ahead of the game. The path to riches Online is varied and far ranging. From; freelance workers in nearly any kind of service you care to mention, auction sites, affiliate marketers to numerous niche marketing sites, they are all there, just a few clicks away.
Yes, there is money to be made. But what many so-called gurus don’t tell you is, how much preparation and work went into that ‘effortless cash flow stream’ that they now command. We sign up for the magic steps, buy that ‘one more’ magic product that is going to make us oodles of home-based cash while sitting by our pools and then suddenly, one day, we realize, this is going to take some constructive effort. Note: Effort not struggle!
We now understand what many of those hourly, daily and weekly newsletters and emails from a minority of less than professional marketers really mean. We have all seen them at some stage or another in our online quest. We are bombarded with messages of ‘follow my step by step program and you can do it too’. But, ‘buy another product first before you never see it again’ and by the way ‘we don’t reply to our emails’ but ‘contact us for support anyway’.
Unfortunately, this means that there is a learning curve that some of us need to experience before the penny drops. It means that we need to take charge, do some homework i.e. research our areas of interest for example; home based business opportunities, Online marketing, Online services etc. Check out many of the numerous newsgroups, user forums, blogs etc. Read what’s being said about your interests and yes, maybe sign up for a few newsletters and get a feel for the author, product or company. Are they interested in sincerely promoting your success, interests or activities? Do they offer sound advice and additional resources without continuous sales hype?
There are many good Online opportunities being promoted in many areas that may appeal to us and there are numerous reputable companies and marketers who understand the concept of win/win, service, quality and integrity. If you haven’t found the opportunity that’s right for you yet, don’t despair, they are out there. Sometimes we need to put our wallets, purses, cash and plastic away for a while, take a step back, take a deep breath and do some solid research.
Ethical operators, in all Online arenas will take the time to answer your queries and address your concerns. Note: Sometimes it may take a couple of days to get back to you due to time-zones, a large number of inquiries etc. Be patient, the good operators will respond no matter how large or small their company, or the nature of your inquiry.
